Bob Geldof is a moron. You know this. Your grandmother knows this. But morons are still occasionally capable of writing good songs.
Is this punk? I don’t know - frankly it sounds pretty much like Cheap Trick. But Bob’s singing has a respectable snottiness to it, and the lyrics are suitably solipsistic. It works.
